Each month, OBP has been organizing a series of workshop sessions with the purpose of the development of its employees. For October's Synergy Session, OBP has discussed mental health. This session aimed to create awareness about the importance of mental wellness and how to care for and manage the employees' mental health.
Mental Health Issues on the Rise
The session shed light on the increasing incidence of mental health problems and their effects on both individuals and society. By tackling the economic, social, and environmental factors that impact our mental health, OBP can take measures to ensure the well-being of its employees. This translates into employees being able to perform at work with a positive attitude and energy.
Breaking the Stigma
During the Synergy Session, the speakers emphasized the importance of understanding that mental health is not a sign of weakness or something to be ashamed of. They particularly addressed the need to combat the stigma that exists in our society. By doing so, employees, whether affected or not, can better comprehend their own mental state and look for assistance without having to confront the negative connotations associated with it.

The October Synergy Session emerged as a resounding success, as participants opened up and shared their personal experiences, shedding light on their individual battles and expressing wholehearted support for the platform provided by this session. The choice of subject matter was highly appropriate, coinciding with October's recognition as World Mental Health Month by the World Health Organization (WHO).
