Launching CargoWise CarrierConnect (C3)

Where to Find It?

You can access C3 via: Manage > Tariffs & Rates > CarrierConnect or through the Autorate Costs process within Jobs—just like the legacy Rate Selector tool.

Setup Essentials: What You Need to Enable

To enable Rate Selector to use C3 Go to Autorating > Rate Selector > Enable Rate Selector (Buy Rates / Costs)

The Rate Service must be enabled to consume rates saved in CargoSphere (CS) and/or CargoGuide (CG).

Features

For Full Access to CG/CS Rates
Grant the Regional Rates Access setting using an asterisk * for company-wide visibility.

For Restricted Access
Limit user access to CG/CS rates based on selected country permissions.

Don’t Forget:
To use C3 for Autorate Consol Costing, users must have the following rights enabled:

  • Autorate Cost
  • Allow Viewing Pricing in Rate Selector

Grant team-specific access through: Go to Manage > Rate Service > CarrierConnect > Module Access, to set the security rights for users:

This security right controls whether a user can access C3 via Manage > Tariffs & Rates > CarrierConnect.
