“The board is pleased and proud to appoint James Godfrey as Director of Sales and Growth, effective September 2nd. James will head our account management, sales and marketing team while building out our growth strategy. He will have a key focus in the areas of global growth and market expansion for OBP. James is an exceptional sales leader with the experience, qualifications and the passion to help lead our company into its next exciting phase of growth. James will also be a part of our senior leadership team.

James previously worked at Telstra Enterprise where he finished off a successful 12 year career as their Senior Business Development Executive of global accounts in Melbourne. James has a wealth of experience in global sales, territory management, technology solutioning and business development.

James was assigned by Telstra to Manila, Philippines and during his five year tenure as Account Director successfully grew the business to USD $4.8M in revenue from scratch. He was able to create a niche market for Telstra and built out a strategic business plan to be successful in the Philippines market. He was heavily involved in Telstra’s go to market strategy in the Philippines that contributed to their brand positioning in the region which delivered sales growth and awareness of the brand. James has a proven track record in acquiring new business with large and reputable multinational companies.

James served on the Telstra Philippines advisory board and country strategy team for three years. He also served as Chairman of the IT and BPO Committee at the Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines. James holds an Associate Fellow with the Australian Institute of Management. He is also currently undertaking further studies in business leadership with the University of Queensland. James brings with him a strong network of senior contacts in both the private and government sector.
